Divine healing is a gift from God mentioned all throughout scripture. The English dictionary described is as healing attributed to the direct agency of God usually in response to faith. One place divine healing is mentioned in scripture is in James Chapter 5 verses 14-15 which says, “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
John G. Lake was a man who moved powerfully in divine healing. This school is named after him as a way to honor his legacy. We believe that every believer can move in divine healing as well.
