God’s Generals of Healing

Read below and learn more about some of God’s Generals of Healing. None of these people were perfect; we are all vessels of clay that God uses. However, we honor and can be inspired by the life of faith these people lived, the trails of healing they helped to blaze and the millions of lives that were touched. There are some pitfalls we can avoid and learn and grow from as well as many principles that we can still apply today!

Asa Alonso Allen (March 27, 1911 – June 11, 1970), better known as A. A. Allen, was an American Pentecostal evangelist known for his faith healing and deliverance ministry. Along with Oral Roberts, he became one of the first evangelists to propagate the concept of Biblical prosperity, calling poverty a “spirit” and magnifying God’s provision.

William Marrion Branham (April 6, 1909 – December 24, 1965) was a faith healer who initiated the post-World War II healing revival. Branham was the first American deliverance minister to successfully campaign in Europe; his ministry reached global audiences with major campaigns held in North America, Europe, Africa, and India.

Jack Coe (March 11, 1918 – December 16, 1956) was an American Pentecostal evangelist, nicknamed “the man of reckless faith”. He was one of the first faith healers in the United States with a touring tent ministry after World War II. He saw hundreds of notable healings and miracles and toured extensively through the American south.

Kathryn Kuhlman (May 9, 1907 – February 20, 1976) was an American evangelist who is known for her incredible gift of faith and healing mantle. An estimated two million people reported they were healed in her meetings over the years that spanned her ministry. Her ministry touched millions of lives across several continents.

John Graham Lake (March 18, 1870 – September 16, 1935) was a Canadian-American leader in the Pentecostal movement that began in the early 20th century, and is known as a faith healer, missionary, and with Thomas Hezmalhalch, co-founder of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa.

Granville Oral Roberts (January 24, 1918 – December 15, 2009) was a Christian Evangelist who helped to pioneer the concept that God desires to prosper us. He was one of the leaders of the charismatic movement, and among the most recognized preachers in the US. He founded the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and Oral Roberts University.

God has a great cloud of witnesses!
